Ina Meyer

• SAQG Recommended Teacher, teaching many traditional techniques and also creative skills such as innovative embellishments, hand appliqué and beginners’ classes.
• She has held many leadership positions in guilds and used her insatiable energy and enthusiasm to encourage learning and sharing. 
• Founding member of Good Hope Quilters’ Guild and has served inter alia as the President of GHQG, and the Jacaranda Quilters’ Guild and is currently Chairlady of Outeniqua Quilters’ Guild.
• Ina has served on SA National Festival Committees in 1994, 2002, 2011 and part of Festival 2019. 
• South African Accredited Judge - Ina has adjudicated quilt competitions locally including National Festivals and the IQA Challenge. Has Judged internationally in Zimbabwe, Namibia and Dubai. 
• Keen participant in Textile Art groups and her work has been exhibited locally and internationally.
• Ina is always challenging herself and then giving what she learned back to the quilting community with a very open hand and heart.
• Ina’s involvement, interests and efforts are helping South African quilting to develop and gain exposure in new and exciting ways.
