Legs -

Cast on 16 stitches and work 38 rows

Cast on 16 stitches for the second leg and work 38 rows

Work across both legs(32 stitches) For 28 rows

Cast on 16 stitches at the beginning of the following two rows for the arms

Work 16 rows. Keep the first 16 stitches at the beginning of the following two rows on stitch holders. 

Work 80 rows on the remaining 32 stitches – this will form the front and the back of the head

Add the stitches that were kept on the stitch holders on each side of the head

Knit across 64 stitches for 16 rowsCast of 16 stitches at the beginning of the following two rows

Continue on the remaining 32 stitches for 28 rows

Keep 16 stitches on a stitch holder

Knit 38 rows for the one leg. Cast off.

Pick up the 16 stitches of the second leg and knit 38 rows for the second leg. Cast off.

Close the seams, leaving an area open for filling the bear.

Work in ears and snout.

Fill with soft filling and close the opening

Use two buttons for eyes. Secure well
