Odette has exhibited extensively at different national and international contemporary textile art shows. Her work can be found in public and private collections, both locally and in Holland, Canada and the USA.
She has judged at national and international quilt competitions and has been curator of exhibitions of South African quilts internationally. In 2001 she was appointed the South African coordinator for the annual World Quilt and Textile Competition.
